Our Featured Project:
A collaborative project for members of NSCSS
A wiki is an easy-to-use Web site that makes it profoundly easy to collaborate on projects. This wiki has been made public to allow anyone to read it, while still restricting editing to those who know the wiki's password. Edits are done in plain text and don't require learning fancy or complex codes like HTML. Just click Edit page and start typing! It's also easy to create new pages and make links to pages you've already made.
Passwords, available to NSCSS members, will be emailed on a regular interval. Regular users are encouraged to create a permanent “PBwiki Identity” by visiting http://my.pbwiki.com. These users won't be affected by periodic password changes.
A great place to contribute content is about yourself at MemberBiographies.

I have been a consultant in soils, water and natural resource issues since 1979. My career has been spent entirely in the private sector, either as an individual consultant/contractor or as a soil scientist/principal in a small corporation. I’m a Certified Professional Soil Scientist with ARCPACS (#2200) and a Registered Professional Soil Scientist with the National Society of Consulting Soil Scientist (#89). My experience spans a wide range of projects concerning irrigation & drainage, agriculture development, soil survey, natural resource assessment, land use planning, soil salinity, water quality, crop production and water rights. My responsibilities have ranged from soils mapper to field scientist on research projects to project management on complex, interdisciplinary water resource issues. The clientele I work for include federal, state and municipal governments; foreign country ministries; small and large land developers; mining, oil and gas industries; water and power entities; and individual land owners. I’ve worked extensively in Colorado and Wyoming but have had projects in most of the 11 western states. I’ve also had the privilege to work overseas on projects focusing on agriculture development, irrigation and drainage in Egypt, Pakistan, Senegal and Zimbabwe.
My professional experience is not just limited to soil science but is wide-ranging and includes additional expertise in environmental impact assessment, aerial photo/imagery interpretation, technical writing and editing, and natural resource damage assessment.
